Welcome!

Welcome to our blog, Reformed Christian Teens! Anyone who would like to post, may. As long as he/she does not post about anything frivolous and/or wasteful. Please go to the 'About Us' page to see our mission statement, and how this blog is to work.

Sincerely,
Matthew Carmichael

Hey readers, I'm Daniel Risler, co-owner on this new blog, Reformed Christian Teens. My buddy Matthew threw this idea at me about a couple weeks ago, asking if I'd help him out, and I said sure! ;) I figured my first post would be a little about Matthew and myself.

I'm 16 years old, and a soon-to-be member of Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Apopka, FL. I've lived in Florida most my life, although I have lived for a while in North Carolina, Maryland, and Texas as well. My parents, brother Joseph, and I have been involved in prolife and evangelistic ministry for over 6 years now, and we offer assistance and the Gospel to couples going into Orlando Women's Center for abortions at least twice a week. I've been Christ's since I was 6, and rededicated my life to His service at 13.

I've known Matthew for a little over a year now, although we knew each other as friends-of-a-friend for a while before that. We enjoy having theological discussions together and with fellow Christians, especially teens. A couple weeks ago Matthew created this blog in order to spread around a short article he wrote, "Is Teasing Harmless, or Not?" in which he discussed whether teenagers, especially Christians, teasing each other about boy/girl relationships was appropriate. When many of our fellow Christian teens in our circle accepted his post positively, he decided to take the blog a step forward and use it to post more articles and verses from us for the edification to you, the readers.

All that to say, thanks for finding this blog in the first place, and please, keep checking for updates! We pray God will take this quick idea of a blog further than we thought possible, to His glory.
